Ozerische
Castle Ozerische was mentioned in 1377. It was a fortress at the eastern border of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. In 1563 Russian prince Yurij Tokmakov captured it. Ozerische became the fortress in the Russian state. In 1579 king Stephan Bathory returned Ozerische in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The castle was at the island, we can see the ramparts only today.
