Turovlya
Fortress Turovlya was founded in 1566 at the banks of river Turovlyanka and river Zapadnaya Dvina. It was an important stronghold for protaction Russian Polotzk from the raids of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Troops of Stephan Bathory burned Turovlya in 1579.
