Kaunas
In the second largest city of Lithuania - Kaunas, ancient Kovno, there are castle ruins, also associated with the wars with the crusaders (54 ° 53′56 ″ N 23 ° 53′06 ″ E). The castle was taken and destroyed by the united army of the knights of the Teutonic Order and the English, Italian, Danish, Czech knights in 1362. Under Grand Duke Vitovt at the beginning of the 15th century. the fortress was actually rebuilt from scratch, and in the modern reconstruction of the tower and walls there are elements of buildings from the 15th-16th centuries.
