Kaarma, the fortified church of St. Peter and Paul, Saaremaa

Church of st. Peter and Paul was built around 1261 as a fortified church. It was erected on an Estonian settlement, its ramparts are located next to the temple. In the church was preserved sculptures of the 15th century and fragments of medieval painting.
